The word “Dravyaguna” means the dealing with properties and Action of drugs.
Dravyaguna is an integral part of Ayurveda, which deal RAS, GUNA,VEERYA,VIPAKA,Prabhava AND KARMA.

4. Dravyaguna is counterpart of “ Modern Pharmacology”
Dravyaguna is also deals with Identification, collection,storage and preservation of raw material of plants origin.

5. Our Dravyaguna department has laboratory, very well established herbal garden about 330 plants species.
Department works with objectives to provides knowledge of Fundamental principle of Dravyaguna, Drug action as per Ayurveda and Modern system of medicine.
