15. Do’s during Griha Pravesh Shubh Muhurat in 2023
Before living in your new home, perform a ritualistic Vaastu Shanti and Griha Pravesh Puja.
Clean your home thoroughly before placing your goods and shifting into your new home.
Choose a place for placing the temple in your new home. This is a must-do and if possible, place the mandir in a northeast direction.
Do charity after finishing your ceremony. The least you can do is, distribute all the remaining food, drinks, and sweets to poor people rather than throwing them away.
Entering your home with Kalash, water, mango leaves, and coconut is one of the most auspicious things to do.

16. Don’ts during Griha Pravesh Shubh Muhurat in 2023
Do not serve non-veg food in your homecoming lunch. It is not good to eat or serve non-vegetarian food after doing Griha Pravesh Puja.
You must wait to shift your furniture before performing the Griha Pravesh puja. Only a gas stove can be brought in before that since it is required in a few rituals of the Girha Pravesh ceremony.
Do not perform Griha Pravesh puja in an incomplete home. The home should be completely ready, and the doors and windows must be installed, especially the main door.
Keep the main door open after entering your new home and completing the Griha Pravesh ceremony.
Performing Griha Pravesh Puja when there’s a death in the family or when a female of the family is pregnant is not suggested. So, avoid having Griha Pravesh Puja in both these conditions.
Never keep the house empty or locked for three days after the Griha Pravesh Puja. Doing so is inauspicious.
