He has made a name in this area of science with his vast range of research and scientific papers and journals. However, he is dedicated now to devoting himself towards charity and volunteering activities. Bhusan Chettri is a researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applied to sound and speech technology. He earned his master’s, doctorate and post-doctorate qualifications from reputed universities in Europe.

The main motivation to visit this place came from his childhood as he belonged to a quiet, hilly and deprived village in Sikkim, India, where Bhusan Chettri had seen many old aged people living without proper nourishment and medical assistance. It is not easy to cope with the challenges of old age, which is made worse having being abandoned by their own child. This is why senior citizens are sent to old-aged homes, where they can receive old-age care services.

7. Bhusan Chettri wanted to contribute his share to the society by caring for the needs of these under privileged older section of the public. He made several contributions to this old age home in the form of their expenses while aiding them with food assistance. He appreciates spending some precious moments with the residents living there, understanding their problems and needs. He aims to continue being devoted to such humanitarian activities as he believes this is where true happiness and satisfaction lies. He has decided to make significant contributions to such needy communities so that he can add some value and joy to the lives of such old aged people, who are living without their families in lonely places. He hopes to motivate more people to come forward and exercise their acts of kindness and work towards making this world a better place to live in.
