This document evolved from a white paper published in 1983 called the "Ethics, Standards, and Accreditation Committee Final Report" with a different title and significantly reorganized. PMBOK Guide, 2000 Edition The second edition (published as the 2000 Edition) added new material reflecting the growth of practices. PMBOK Guide, Third Edition 2004 The third edition (2004) was a significant edit from the earlier editions, changing criteria for inclusion from "generally accepted" practice to "generally recognized as good practice" PMBOK Guide, Fourth Edition 2008 Project management constrains increased from 3 to 6. It consisted of 42 Processes and 517 ITTO (Inputs, Tools, Techniques & Outputs) PMBOK Guide, Fifth Edition 2013 Revised to include 47 Processes and 619 ITTO (Inputs, Tools, and Techniques, & Outputs). PMBOK Guide, Sixth Edition 2017 The sixth edition (September 2017) added several topics and included agile practices for the first time. PMBOK Guide, Seventh Edition 2021 The seventh edition (2021) presents major structural changes, such as replacing the 10 knowledge areas with 12 principles and including agile practices more comprehensively.

Make sure you are Eligible Submit your Application Online Wait 3 to 5 business days for PMI Approval Take and Pass the Exam PMP Certified Maintain Your PMP PMP Certification eligibility requirements PMP Audit Continuing Cert. Req. (CCR) Program A four-year degree 36 months leading projects 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification A high school diploma or an associate’s degree (or global equivalent) 60 months leading projects 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification PMI randomly selects 5-10% of applicants to be audited. The PMP® audit is a confirmation of the prerequisite experience you declared in order to sit for the PMP® exam. You need to submit evidence of your claimed qualifications. When PMI concludes the audit, you can schedule your PMP® exam. It is designed so cert. holder can grow and develop the skills that organizations are seeking — all the while maintaining certification status. To maintain your certification, you need to earn 60 PDUs every three years, beginning the day you pass the PMP certification exam. OR
