7 PCI Slots A special connection on the motherboard that enables you to add hardware to your computer that didn't come with it. BACK

8 AGP/VGA Slot Where AGP/VGA cards is inserted to enhance graphics feature of a PC. BACK

9 Southbridge Chipset An integrated circuit ( generally Intel or VIA ) on the motherboard that is responsible for the hard disk drive controller, I/O controller and integrated hardware such as sound card or video card if present on the motherboard. BACK
