7 What we will cover today
Our focus today will be on our current student audience brochures, new resources and supporting information we’ve put in place to support them through the transfer to the updated qualifications. It’s a nerve wracking time for our studying community and we’ve done everything we can to help them feel informed and up to date. Our main priority has been to ensure that our active students continue with their studies and feel supported through their journey and this has been the focus for the marketing for the project. 1 New syllabus 2 Computer based exams New learning resources 3 CIPS MENA 2020 Open Training 4

8 New syllabus guides A new suite of syllabus content guide replace the current unit content guides. (We’ve got printed copies here in the UK and artwork is available for printing locally.)

9 We’ve spent a lot of time working with our education partner stakeholders to test these communications and get them on board with the restructure. Our priority throughout the project has been to make sure we are clear about the updated structure. Each syllabus guide provides full details about the qualifications including and overview, credit value, progression and all of the learning outcomes and indicative content. Students can relate their current position on their CIPS qualifications journey and what the next steps are, and which levels of the global standard the content is aligned too. It also clearly shows the number of credits you are required to complete the qualifications. It identifies which are core modules and which are the elective modules you’ll notice I’m referring to them as modules not units. This has been introduced as part of the qualifications review. We have also introduced in more details about credits this time. This is explained in each of the syllabus guides, fact sheets, on the web pages and on the qualifications transfer tool. You’ll also find a quick overview of who the qualification is aimed at and what you can expect to learn, who it will help.
