3. The Near Future/Le Futur Proche = Going to
Formation: 1. Conjugate the verb ALLER 2. Leave the 2nd verb in its INFINITIVE FORM (non conjugated verb) 3. In other words, ALLER + THE INFINITIVE

Je vais conduire = I’m going to drive. Tu vas doubler la voiture = You are going to pass the car. Il va recevoir une contravention = He’s going to get a ticket.

Formation:
1. Go to the INFINITIVE
2. Add the following endings:

For “RE” verbs you must drop the E
