3 Learning Objectives Students will identify and incorporate key vocabulary terms and concepts related to the Big Business era when answering scaffolding questions pertaining to political cartoons. Students will examine instances of symbolism and exaggeration in political cartoons utilized by political cartoonists during the era of Big Business. Students will utilize the Notice, Think, Predict strategy when analyzing political cartoons to facilitate the answering of scaffolding questions. Students will self-monitor their learning by completing the NTP Checklist when analyzing and interpreting political cartoons.
