The Greek word for repentance is “metanoia,” which literally means a change of mind.

Repentance is not just a simple confession but a change in direction.

Repentance means turning away from sin.

Repentance depends on an objective decision
to accept only God’s righteousness into one’s life and reject anything not compatible with this.

To repent, we need to admit
that we have sin in our lives.

Repentance only becomes complete after totally turning away from evil and accepting Jesus as Lord.

Faith is not just a feeling. We accept
God’s word no matter how we feel.
