Senior fees for WHS - $70 (Includes Cap, Gown & Tassel, Senior T-shirt, Senior picnic, Senior class picture, Senior keychain, Senior Class Gift) Cap & Gown pictures SAT/ACT fees College Application fees Yearbook Extras (Homecoming, Prom, etc) Fee waivers

Graduation & Senior Award’s Day Attire
Gentlemen Ladies Dark navy or black dress slacks (no jeans) White, long-sleeved dress shirt and a tie Brown or black dress shoes (no athletic shoes or flip-flops) Cap, gown, and tassel (Mortar board must be level.) Do not alter/decorate the cap or gown prior to the graduation ceremony. Steam your gown so that it will not have creases and wrinkles. Dress (must be no longer than your graduation gown and the collar must not show) Brown or black dress shoes with a back or back strap (no athletic shoes of flip-flops) Cap, gown, and tassel (Mortar board must be level.) Do not alter the cap or gown prior to the graduation ceremony. Steam your gown so that it will not have creases and wrinkles.

Senior reminders: All school debt (including Senior Fees) must be paid prior to Graduation. Any student with outstanding school debt will not be allowed to participate in the Graduation Ceremony. We must have a Birth Certificate on file to order a Diploma Name on Diploma MUST match the Name on Birth Certificate

FAFSA Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(Click FAFSA) One application to apply for Federal and State financial aid (Free of charge) Based on family financial records (Tax forms) Opens October 1, 2019 for school year Must have FSA ID (Both student and parent must have FSA ID’s) Seniors will begin obtaining their FSA ID’s in Advisory beginning 9/25

NC Residency Determination
In order to receive In-state tuition and State financial aid, a residency determination is required Use your cfnc.org username and password or you can create a new account with RDS Complete required documentation of NC residency and receive your Residential Determination Number Most public NC colleges and universities require RDS number before submitting application

Career/ WorkKeys WorkKeys is a job skills assessment measuring “real-world” skills that employers believe are critical to job success. Who Takes WorkKeys: Seniors who complete 4 CTE courses within a pathway. When will WorkKeys be administered: December 3rd at Walkertown High School Student who achieve a certain WorkKeys score may receive a National Career Readiness Certificate making them more competitive in the job market.

NCAA Clearinghouse Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center at Cost is $80. Fee waivers are available for eligible students. Students should register to take the ACT, SAT or both. Use the NCAA Eligibility Center code “9999” as a score recipient. At the end of the year, official transcripts are submitted for all 11th and 12th graders registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
