TEMPLE TOOLS Hello, my name is Julie Wilkins and I am the Associate Director of Global Executive MBA Programs at Temple University Fox School of Business. In this presentation, we will discuss all the tools and resources you will be provided as a Temple student.

YOUR ACCESS NET ACCOUNT
ACTIVATING your AccessNet account is the first step in being able to use all Temple online resources: You will need your 9-digit TU ID to activate your TU AccessNet. Once activated, you will receive your TU ID AND PASSWORD. This log in information gives you access to TU Portal, TUmail, Canvas, Self- Service Banner and many other student applications. An AccessNet Account is for currently enrolled Temple students to use web and computing resources. There is no charge for this account and it will remain active as long as you are enrolled as a student with the University. This will allow you access into TU Portal, TUmail, Canvas, Self Service Banner and many other student applications. You will need your TUid to activate your TU AccessNet. Your TUid is a 9-digit number that begins with 9-1.

ACTIVATING YOUR TU ACCESSNET ACCOUNT
Step #1: Follow this Link: Step #2: Click on “Activate AccessNet Account” Step #3: Enter Your Last Name, 9-digit TU ID Number and your Date of Birth Step 4: Click on “Submit” You will be prompted to create a password and enter security questions. Step #2 To activate your TU AccessNet account, follow these simple steps. Go to accounts.temple.edu and click Activate AccessNet Account. You will then enter your last name, your 9-digit TUid number, and your date of birth. Once you click ‘Submit’, you will be prompted to create a password and enter security questions. Make sure to write down this information and keep it in a safe place because you will need it in the future when you log in. You will use your TU AccessNet username and password for all Temple University log in systems. If you ever forget your username or password, you may contact Computer Services at Step #3 Step #4

Lynda.com TU Library resources Temple contact information TUHelp – Computer Services help Self-Service Banner Now that you have activated your TU AccessNet account, you can log in to TU Portal and utilize its various resources. Use your TU AccessNet account username and password to log into TUportal by going to tuportal.temple.edu. You can go under the Student Tools tab in order to view holds on your account, your final grades, your academic history and much more. You can also go under the Student Tools tab to update your personal information. Under TUApplications, you can access BlackBoard, your TUMail, Self-Service Banner, WebEx, and many more resources.

WebEx WEBEX WebEx is Temple University’s video conferencing technology. It can be used to conduct online meetings, attend virtual class sessions, and share and work on documents. WebEx can be accessed on the left side of TUPortal under TUApplications. You will need a set of speakers or headphones, a webcam, and a microphone in order to use WebEx. If you plan to speak as well as listen, a headset with a built-in microphone is recommended.

DIRECTORIES Fox Faculty: Cherry and White Pages: EMBA Cohort Directories – on Canvas The official student, faculty and staff directory at Temple University is called the Cherry and White pages, named after the school’s official colors. You can access Cherry and White at: The directory is searchable by name, department, phone number, and Temple address.
