2 Presentation Timeline
Presentation: 5 minutes Questions: 3 minutes

3 Presentation Guidelines
Funds Council presentations must include some type of visual (i.e. powerpoint, excel workbook, video, etc.) Presentations must be submitted 2 business days before your scheduled presentation date. Presentations can be submitted to the address. Submit visual through Presence*

4 Introduction Slide Clutter-free slide including:
Title (i.e. “Public Health Conference”, etc.) Name(s) Club/organization affiliation (if applicable) Important dates/times Total amount requested

5 Funding Request Description Slide
This is a detailed explanation of what your requested funds will be going towards A more in-depth explanation of your: Who? What? Where? When? How is this request overall beneficial to CWU? 4 W’s Explanation: show a good amount of planning and organization through travel itinerary, event plan/setup, etc. Include photos of what you want to/will be doing Include a slide each for every source you’d like to receive money from, with in depth explanation with photos, etc.

6 Funding Request Justification Slide(s)
This section should be no more than 4 slides. We recommend one slide per funding source that you are requesting from i.e. If you checked off a box under ESC and Club Senate, you can create two slides describing how your request aligns with the values of each group. Pro-Tip: Support your reasoning with detailed goals/outcomes that are similar to the mission statements and constitutions of the funding sources you’re requesting from

7 Expense Budget Breakdown
This slide should include a visual graphic that includes all anticipated expenses from your funding request packet These can take the form of the following: Tables Graphs Budget from your funding request

8 Expense Budget Breakdown cont.
Be sure to share why your expenditures are reasonable and necessary i.e. What have you done to cut costs? Include all other funding sources you have utilized Fundraising Personal/club contribution Other sources (Department, donations, etc.)

Total Cost: $2,000 Total Requested: $1,175 Additional sources: Fundraising: $500 Office of Undergraduate Research: $325 Personal: $200

10 Closing Slide Thank the Funds Council for their time
List contact information Note: You may wait till after the 20 minute recess to receive immediate response from the Funds Council on your funds request or you can wait till the following day for one of the advisors to contact you if you received any funding.
