2 The Title Of His Life: Belief

3 Talhah was so smart and had such a good judge of human nature
Despite his young age, he traveled to the city of Ash-Sham with the caravan of Quraish

4 In the streets he heard a monk yelling “Has Ahmad appeared in your land!”
Ahmad is the son of ‘Abdullah, son of ‘Abl al-Muttalib He will migrate to the land of black stones and palm trees After this Talhah went straight to Makkah

5 On his way to Makkah he met a merchant, Uthman ibn Affan
They had a same story about Ahmad When Talhah arrived to Makkah he asked his family “Did anything happen in Makkah during our absence?”

6 Talhah holds fast to his faith
Because he entered Islam his family was horrified with the news People from his clan tried to to switch him back to his first religion They actually started torturing him

7 Gallantry at Uhud Talhah was one of the very few who stayed by the side of the Prophet Talhah volunteered several times to fight of the following Kuffar but the Prophet said no The Muslims kept moving up the mountain and kept volunteering to fight and kept fighting to death

8 Sadly, there were only few sahaba’s left when a kuffar came and pointed his sword at the prophet
Talhah used his hand to push the sword aside and his hand was paralyzed after that and his hand never moved again Because of this the Prophet Muhammad (s) life was saved

9 Every once in awhile Talhah would stop fighting, bring the Prophet up the mountain, Put him down, and then continue fighting At the end of the battle a sahaba and Abu Bakr rushed to the prophet but he refused for help and told them to help Talhah

10 Talhah ended up with 70 wounds by
Spears Swords Arrows His hand was paralyzed, he was lying unconscious in a hole in the ground, and had 70 wounds The Prophet said “Whoever wants to look at a dead man walking on Earth let him look at Talhah ibn Abdullah

11 The Generosity of Talhah
In the time when Rasulallah (s) and Abu Bakr where hiding in the caves and were walking around they met Talhah There clothes were worn out and dirty and they were also looking out for pursuers Talhah told them that Madina was eagerly waiting for them and gave them good and clean clothes

12 Talhah was a wealthy merchant and once he received 700 dirhams
That night he was restless because he did know what to do with the money His wife said to give the money to the helpless people of his clan, so that is what he did first thing in the morning In the morning he put the money into purses and distributed them to the poor people of the Muhajirun and Ansar

13 One day a man came and mentioned a kinship
Talhah said “I have a piece of land that I was going to sell to Uthman ibn Affan for 300 thousand. If you wish you, can take it, or I will sell it to him for 300 thousand and give you the money.” The guy asked for the money so Talhah gave it to him even though this man was a stranger

14 Rasulallah (s) said that all of his sahabah were like the stars, but some of them he particularly honored with the promise of Jannah. Talhah was among those to whom Rasulullah promised paradise. May Allah be content with him and may He enlighten his grave

15 Conclusion: Any Questions or Comments?
