Welcome to Kenmere Primary School – a largely community school in Kensington, a suburb of Cape Town. We aim to provide a firm foundation, based on sound moral values, that will equip our learners who come from diverse backgrounds to meet the challenges they face now and in the future.
We know that children thrive in an organised, warm and caring environment. Respect, discipline and courtesy are an integral part of school life. At Kenmere every child is encouraged to have a dream and have the passion to pursue it. It is loving what they do that opens the door to achievement and success.
We have learnt to remain dauntless when confronted by adversity and obstacles as these build tenacity and character. Our boys and girls are taught to believe in themselves and know that they are unique beings who have the ability to achieve.

VISION STATEMENT
We the educators, support staff and parents of Kenmere Primary School pledge to develop the child’s potential holistically. We endeavour to enrich our learners academically, culturally, spiritually and in sport to enable them to think critically and work independently and co-operatively.
This will take place in a safe, happy and dynamic learning environment within the context of a healthy community partnership.
