Here at Boyet Junior High, our students are just as capable as any students across the U.S. Every day, we are committed to ensuring that our students have the opportunity to grow and thrive so they can reach their potential. To do this, we need a plan in place to ensure every teacher is prepared to provide every student what they need to be successful. Welcome Boyet Junior High Families

The key components of our plan that will lead to school improvement include: Use of high quality curriculum Training for our teachers on the use of this curriculum ELA Content Leader Training Math Content Leader Training Intervention Content Leader Training School Support Institutes attended by school leadership team Common planning time for teacher collaboration Classroom observations of curriculum implementation

LEAP 2025 is divided by five levels of achievement. Our goal is for every student to reach at least “Mastery” which signals readiness for the next grade level.

10 2019-2020 School Improvement Goals
Boyet Junior High will: Increase the K8 School Performance Score (SPS) for the “Students with Disabilities” subgroup from 54.1 to 60.0 Increase the K8 SPS for the “English Language Learners” subgroup from 36.1 to 43.1 points Increase the Algebra I index score from to 113.6 Increase the whole school math index score from 69.7 points to 73.0 points Given the data we’ve shared, focused on the following priorities for the

We are committed to providing families with meaningful communication about Boyet Junior High’s plan and your child’s academic progress throughout the year. Here are ways we can partner to meet our plan’s goals: Communicate with us: Contact your child’s teacher or principal with questions about your child’s progress, learning needs, or school events/programs. Support learning at home: Attend an upcoming parent family engagement event to learn more about supporting your child’s learning at home.
