4. 1. Background of the Urban Agenda for the Europe
Launched in 2016 by the Council of the European Union
Objective: to strengthen the urban dimension in European policies
Partnerships in 14 policy areas (e.g. poverty, climate, migration, employment)
Principle of multi-level governance: cooperation between cities, Member States, organisations and the EU Commission
Berlin has been a member of the "Jobs & Skills" partnership since 2017.
Berlin is also involved in the partnerships "Inclusion of Migrants and Refugees" and "Culture / Cultural Heritage".

Final project form ready in the beginning of February

Web Agency to program and design the website assigned in Mid of March
Project call ended on 15th April
Submitting of verified texts and illustrating material on 10th May
The Digital Skills Map went online: 13th June 2019
