Each income decile is composed of 16 countries (except the four lowest deciles, which are composed of 17 countries each). The PPP-adjusted income deciles (in thousand $US) are as follows: (1st) $0.6-$1.5, (2nd) $1.5-$2.7, (3rd) $2.7-$5.3, (4th) $5.5-$8.0, (5th) $8.3-$10.8, (6th) $11.1-$15.2, (7th) $15.3-$20.3, (8th) $20.6-$29.4, (9th) $30.4-$40.9, and (10th) $41.3-$ Error bars represent 95% confidence intervals.
