4 Livestock Cattle are livestock!
We use cattle for so much. These cattle are mostly used for beef. Beef cattle have more muscle than dairy cattle.

6 Crop Corn is a crop! Corn is a crop because it is a cultivated plant grown for good, livestock feed, and fuel.

8 Not Livestock Deer are not considered livestock because they are wild animals and not raised by humans for profit. Ranches do provide wildlife habitat.

Sunflowers are a crop because they are a cultivated plant grown for food.

12 Livestock Dairy cows are livestock!
Dairy cows are livestock because they produce milk. Milk can be sold and used for drinking, and made into cheese, yogurt, sour cream and other dairy products.

14 Livestock Chickens are livestock!
Chickens produce eggs and meat. Have you ever had and omelet? A chicken produced those eggs. How about chicken nuggets? Those nuggets come from chickens, too!

16 Crop Hay is a crop! Hay is a crop because it is a cultivated plant grown for livestock feed.

Hogs produce meat for us. Do you eat sausage or bacon in the morning? Those are from a hog! So are the pork chops and ham you have for lunch or dinner.

26 Did you know: In Wyoming
Agriculture is one of the top three industries in our state. Cattle and sheep are the top two types of livestock produced in our state. Every county in Wyoming produces cattle and sheep. We are 4th in the nation for the number of sheep we produce (Texas is first).
