Biggest victory Native Americans ever won over United States Forces. Custer’s defeat convinced the United States government to take stronger action against Native American groups.

Surrounded by U.S. forces at Wounded Knee, South Dakota 300 Lakota’s were killed – marked end of wars between U.S. and Native Americans
