New societies – creating sustainable and active societies. Currently implemented various things to capture new society ideas. Subcommittee. Training. Application forms and initial meetings, discussions, through Katy. What other support should we offer?
Training – developing skills and opportunities (food hygiene training, first aid training, journalism training)
Cross-training and inter-society work/collaboration

2. Important Info Please note:
If you haven’t already, please to let us know that some of your committee is missing from the website. When they you back to give you the ok, you should be able to do the steps in this presentation.
Only presidents will be able to do this
If your president does not have admin permissions please contact and we can add them on
People can only be added as committee if they have paid to join the club or soc

3. Login to UEA.SU
Presidents, please go to the student union website UEA.SU
When you log in you will see this screen:

4. On UEA.SU
In the top right hand corner, if you are a president with the correct permissions, you can click on the settings cog, and you should see your society ‘admin tools’

5. On UEA.SU
You will see a list of clubs/societies that you are an admin of
Click on the club/soc that you wish to add admins to
It will take you to this screen:
On the bottom, click on groups

6. On UEA.SU
You will see the names of some committee positions, these are groups that you can add people to, which will give them admin permissions for the website

7. On UEA.SU
If you click on a committee role, you will see a list of your paid members, who you can choose to add to the group
Adding people to these groups will give them admin permissions for your club/soc’s page on the website
If your committee has not paid to join, they will not come up here
You can add more than one person to each group
Don’t worry if the committee position doesn’t match their actual role on committee

8. On UEA.SU
Select a person (or people) who are on your committee and add them to these groups
It will look like this:
These people are now admins for your club or society
If you have not ed to tell us some of your committee is missing, then please do that, as this guide will not work
