When you partner with Walk 4 CMT, you directly impact research and patient programs for the 2.8 million people who suffer with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. Our participants likely to support businesses that are seen as a valued partners of the CMT community. 3 YOUR DOLLARS INVESTED WISELY
Our Mission: to support the development of new drugs to treat CMT, to improve the quality of life for people with CMT, and, ultimately, to find a cure. RESEARCH The CMTA is currently funding research for the types of CMT that affect approximately 90% of all people with CMT. We are aggressively fighting to find a pharmaceutical treatment, and, ultimately, a cure for all types of CMT. PATIENT SERVICES There are more than 70 branches nationwide that provide support for patients living with CMT. In 2016, the CMTA launched Camp Footprint, the only summer camp in the US just for kids with CMT! Not only is Camp Footprint a life-changing experience, but it is also FREE of charge. 04 EDUCATION The CMTA offers a comprehensive series of educational programs and resources for pediatric and adult patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals who work with CMT patients.

VOLUNTEER Volunteers are the backbone of our event. We need volunteers to assist with everything, from generating additional revenue to event day logistics.
