13 Prayer (adapted from B. John Henry Newman’s meditation)
God has created me to do Him some definite service. He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another. I have my mission – I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told it in the next. He has not created me for nothing. Dear Lord, help us to trust that you know us through and through and what is best for us. Help us to cooperate with your grace so that we may become the persons you made us to be, for this is what it is to be a saint. In Christ Jesus, Amen.
