Reading is taught mainly through guided reading and 1:1 support. Reading books which have all been read are changed when your child puts them in the reading box in the classroom. Please ensure that you comment in your child’s reading record each time – it’s so we know they have actually read. Please try to read with your child a little each day and encourage some independent reading also. Please send book bags into school every day.

Ask your child about their day. We NEVER do ‘nothing’! Please celebrate your children’s achievements. If possible could you order your child’s dinner at home. Please ensure your child only brings water into school.
