5 How to align text as you type
Move the cursor to the left margin. Select alignment (left, centre, right, justify). Now type the text to be aligned. Press Enter once done with the alignment.

6 How to align existing text
Move the cursor to the beginning of text you want to align. Highlight the text. Select alignment (left, centre, right, justify). Now type the text to be aligned.

9 How to apply different font styles (bold, italics and underline) using the formatting toolbar
Click on the B I U formatting toolbar for the one you want to activate. B is for BOLD, I is for italics and U is for underline. When you have finished with the selected format, click on the B I U again to deactivate the function.

Press Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar. Use this function to keep certain words together when Microsoft Word would prefer to wrap the words.

14 How to convert case This can change your existing text from upper to lower case or from lower to upper case. Highlight the text you want to change. Press Shift+F3.
