The “gospel” is for sinners (Mk. 16:15)
The “gospel” is for saints (Rom. 1:15)
We encourage all people to obey the gospel, but why should they?

1. We obey to show our love (1 Jn. 5:3)
Those who do not obey cannot say they love themselves or love God
True love is not just words, but shows itself in action (2 Cor. 8:24)

Those who love God, obey (Lk. 11:42; Jn. 5:42; Rom. 8:28; Jas. 2:5)
Those who love Jesus, obey (Jn. 8:42; 14:15, 21-24; 15:10)
