Goals of the programme The aim of the programme is a non-technical education in information management. Focus is on the efficient use and management of information technology in a business context. Starting from a basic technological background, the programme further elaborates upon the managerial potential thereof. In line with the MSIS 2006 and IS 2010 frameworks the programme aims at providing new skills, knowledge and insight in the following areas: managerial aspects of ICT analysis and modeling in a business context role of ICT architectures advanced information, process and knowledge management professional and scientific information-attitude Faculty of Economics and Business

What do we as lecturers expect from students?
1 study point = hours of work So, 6 study points = study hours 1h of lecture = 3h of student work Examples: 1 hour of teaching = 1 hour of study + 1 hour for tasks & assignments + 1 hour of exam preparation 1 hour of teaching = 2 hours of study + 1 hour of exam preparation Attend lectures and pay attention! Keep up with material: read course text at home, preferably prior to class Participate in exercise session, discussions Make assignments Faculty of Economics and Business
