Polychlorinated biphenyls are a group of 209 different chemicals which share a common structure but vary in the number of attached chlorine atoms.
Once PCBs enter a person´s (or animal´s) body, they tend to be absorbed into fat tissue and remain there.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are compounds that easily become vapors or gases.
VOCs are released from burning fuel such as gasoline, wood, coal, or natural gas. They are also released from many consumer products:
Cleaners and disinfectants
Moth repellants
Air fresheners
Building materials and furnishings
Copy machines and printers
Pesticides
