We invite all students to bake a cake/cupcake with an international theme for Languages Day.

4. Bring your cake in between Wednesday, 25th and Thursday, 26th of September to the MFL office before or during registration.
The baked items will be judged by a panel of teachers
You can win cash prizes.
You will also win SCHOLAR’S CUP POINTS FOR YOUR COLLEGE
The cakes will be sold outside the MFL department at break and lunch time on Thursday, 26th of September and the proceeds will go towards funding for languages assistants. .

You can work in pairs/groups and we are looking forward to seeing lots of colourful and delicious cakes.
Please let your languages teacher know that you want to take part in this competition.
Make sure you bring your cake in clearly labelled with name/TG/college.
The cakes will be sold at break in front of the C block (50p a slice) and all proceeds will go towards funding for languages assistants.
Results will be announced at tutor time the following day.

6. Not a baker?
We are also running a Languages Day competition to design a new badge for French, German and Spanish.
Your design must fit into the template that your teacher will give you, apart from that anything goes!
Entries by Monday 7th October please
