3 Dimensions of Wellness
Name the 8 dimensions of wellness discussed from the video Examples of a healthy behavior/decisions a college student can make from each dimension Examples of unhealthy behaviors/decisions How do we fit so many dimensions of wellness into a 24 hour day?!

4 24 Hour Wellness Activity
24 post-it-notes or stickers per student Label each note or sticker with your initials Each Post-it note or sticker represents ONE hour of a 24 hour day Move around the room and put your note/stickers on each category for every hour you would be involved in that activity (ex. 7 notes/stickers on sleep represents 7 hours spent on sleep a day)

5 24 Hour Activity cont. What were your most important categories?
What are you least? Did you have anything you “didn’t have time for”? What are the consequences of running out of time? What about stress management?

6 24 Hour Ideal Schedule Work in groups of 2 or 3
Complete your OWN schedule by color coding different activities and the amount of time you hope to dedicate to each activity each day (use different color for each activity) Consider – class times, studying, tutors, meals, sleep, student involvement, free time/social activities, work, other. Be mindful of transition times – time between classes, travel etc. Use an asterisk or star for stress management techniques Talk with small group -what time will be prioritized, what is wasted, options?

7 Ideal Schedule What did it look like to fit healthy behaviors into the 24 hour day? How hard was it to allot time to stress management? What do you consider stress management? What are some other ways you can incorporate stress management into parts of your day? Look at the Wellness Wheel What areas do you feel most confident in? Areas for improvement? How can you improve?
