Established in1985, London’s oldest remaining Rape Crisis Centre.
Providing specialist support services for women aged 14 and over in any South London, who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives.

Offers emotional support and practical information.
Counselling
Female survivors (14+) of rape and childhood sexual abuse offered up to one year free specialist counselling.
Fully qualified and experienced counsellors.
Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Clients seen for initial meeting within 7 days of receiving their self assessment.
Current waiting list 4 months for evening appointments.
Advocacy
Support for clients in South London who have reported to the police and are going through the legal system.
Service includes attending SARCS, Police appointments, Court Proceedings.
Court familiarisation, explaining legal process and providing information.
Holistic provision including advocacy for housing, immigration etc.
Emotional and practical information and support.
Offers short term crisis counselling for women pre-trial.

Offers specialist emotional support and practical information.
All helpline workers receive accredited training in providing specialist support to survivors of sexual violence.
Provides support and information to: female survivors, partners, family, friends, other support agencies.

5. RASASC Specialist Counselling Monday – Thursday / Low Cost / 12 – 18mths therapy
Long term and low cost, specialist sexual violence counselling for female survivors (14+).
Fully qualified and experienced psychotherapists.
Accredited centre by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

6. Independent Sexual Violence Advocate RASASC Advocacy (ISVA)
Support for women who are considering reporting or who have already reported to the police.
Provides specialist emotional and practical information and support.
Service includes attending SARCS, Police appointments, Court Proceedings and court familiarisation

7. Independent Domestic Violence Advocate RASASC Advocacy (IDVA)
Fully qualified IDVA specialising in sexual violence, based at the Family Justice Centre in Croydon.
Provides specialist emotional and practical information and support for women experiencing domestic violence.
Open for drop-in and appointments every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am - 4pm.
Offers direct links into specialist counselling at RASASC.

8. Sexual Violence Outreach RASASC Specialist Sexual Violence Outreach Worker
Through face-to-face meetings and attendance at drop- ins we:
Offer highly qualified, empathic support to female survivors of rape and sexual abuse (14+).
Facilitate clients accessing RASASC’s helpline, counselling and advocacy services.
Inform survivors of relevant agencies/health- care/ISVAs/Sexual Assault Referral Centres/Rape Crisis Centres in their area.

9. Prevention and Training Specialist Sexual Violence Training and Prevention
Provide specialist training to multi-agency professionals across London.
Training themes include; rape, childhood sexual abuse and exploitation, impacts and responses, the Criminal Justice System and support on how to respond to disclosures.
Provide specialist training to teachers and youth professionals who are working directly with young people.
Deliver prevention work in schools and youth settings focusing on gender, consent, coercion and sexualisation.
Delivered by qualified trainers who are also accredited front- line support practitioners.
