PROVIDE OPTIONS FOR LANGUAGE & SYMBOLS Checkpoint 2.5 Illustrate through multimedia Educators should provide different types of information and images to be more understandable for all students by using hands on activities and videos. Multimedia tools are an advantage for using differentiation instruction for teaching the same material to all students.

4. KEY CONSIDERATIONS Images can be presented by using illustration, dance/movement, diagram, tables, videos, storyboards, or virtual manipulative.

6. U.D.L OF REPRESENTATION Learners differ in the ways that they perceive and comprehend information that is presented to them. For example, those with sensory disabilities (blindness or deafness); learning) disabilities (dyslexia); language or cultural differences (Cast, 2008). A strategy that I found for this principle and checkpoint that I feel is applicable in my current and future work context is the use of videos dance/movement videos when alphabet, numbers and sight words are introduced in kindergarten. This concept is very beneficial because the students remember what has been introduced in class after a few days of repeated videos.
