3 The PRESENT PROGRESSIVE TENSE indicates continuing action, something going on now.
This tense is formed with the helping "to be" verb, in the present tense, He is running.

4 The present progressive can suggest that an action is going to happen in the future,
The hurricane is making landfall tomorrow at 6pm. Because the present progressive can suggest either the present or the future, it is usually modified by adverbs of time.

6 Present Continuous Review
We use present continuous to talk about something that is happening at the time of speaking. The action is not finished. The water is flooding my house. What is happening?
