30 How far do you agree? My travel choices can make a difference to my own health and fitness.

31 How far do you agree? Before I go by car I will consider if there is another way to travel.

32 How far do you agree? I think the Active Travel Act is a good opportunity to make a change to how we travel in Wales.

33 Sustrans is the charity that’s enabling people to travel by foot, bike or public transport for more of the journeys we make every day. Our work makes it possible for people to choose healthier, cleaner and cheaper journeys, with better places and spaces to move through and live in.

34 Sustrans works in three ways
To make local environments safer and more attractive for walking and cycling. To support and encourage individuals to make more sustainable travel choices. To influence policy and practice.

35 What is the effect of Sustrans’ work?
To improve people’s health and quality of life, to reduce the environmental impacts and energy use associated with transport, to widen access to local jobs and services so that local streets and public spaces become places for people to enjoy.
