The history of Romanian National Air Transport Company commenced in the beginning of the aeronautic industry, a domain in which Romania – through Aurel Vlaicu, Traian Vuia and Henri Coanda – excelled. In 1920, one of the first commercial line in the history was founded in Romania - Franco-Romanian Air Navigation Company, also the first airline company in the history of aviation operating trans- continental flights. In 1954, after several transformations, the company became Romanian Air Transport (TAROM) and 12 years later made the first fight across the Atlantic. In 1969, TAROM became a pioneer when the IL 18 Romanian plane, carrying 65 passengers flew around the world, in less than 80 hours. In 2010, the National Flag Carrier of Romania – allied with SkyTeam, marking a historical moment for the company – the beginning of a new era in TAROM. 8 Terms and conditions Costs do not include VAT and represent the cost for advertising space rental provided by TAROM. “Route” represent a two ways flight. The cost per route may varry depending on the number of routes, aditional discounts being offered as follows: 1 month – no discount available 3 months –10% discount 6 months –15% discount 12 months –20% discount If not choosing 1, 3, 10 or 20 routes, but a number of routes in between, the calculation will be as follows: Between 1 and 3 routes the cost that applies is for one single route (eg: 2 routes = 4000 EUR if opting for one month); Between 3 and 10 routes the cost that applies is for 3 routes (eg: 5 routes = 7500 EUR if opting for one month); Between 10 and 20 routes the cost that applies is for 10 routes (eg: 15 routes = EUR if opting for one month); Between 20 and all routes operated by TAROM the cost that applies is for 20 routes (eg: 30 routes = EUR if opting for one month). The examples applies for the costs of flyers and brochures distribution in the back seat insert. The production costs for flyers will be paid by the client, the distribution will be made by TAROM depending on the client’s request (number of routes, period, etc). For sampling (candy bars, drinks, mobile Sims, etc) the client will provide the products that TAROM will distribute. The flyers and brochures will be placed in the back seat insert, and the sampling products will be placed on each seat on the plane.

A taste of flying TAROM is considered to have the best food on board among all airlines companies operating in Romania. The clinging and unclinging of the Tables will be made by a supplier chosen by the client, supervized by a technical team of TAROM, and the costs will paid by the client.

The clinging and unclinging of the trolleys will be made by a supplier chosen by the client, supervized by a technical team of TAROM, and the costs will paid by the client.
