2. Executive Office of the President
The EOP is the separate agencies that have the closest advisers to the President.
The White House Office houses the key personal and political staff.
The chief of staff controls the the White House Office.
About 400 people work in the White House Office.

3. National Security Council
The NSC takes care of the nation’s security.
It’s the President, VP, secretaries of state and defense, director of the CIA, and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
It is a staff agency.

4. Other EOP Agencies
The Office of Homeland Security protects us from terrorism.
The Office of Management and Budget deals with creating the budget. This budget sets forth what the Federal government will do in the year.
The OMB also administers that the funds are spent accordingly.

5. Other EOP
Office of National Drug Control Policy helps control illegal drugs.
Many other units deal with things like the environment, agriculture, science, and technology.
