1. Annual Monitoring and Enhancement Reporting (AMER) - Overview of Dashboard -
How to access the dashboard: visit
(available when on the BU network or through VMware Horizon)
Then click on the AMER icon to launch the dashboard.
From the homepage you need to select either a Department or a Programme. You can search by typing into the box or you can use the + symbols to see the full list:
Once selected, options will appear so you can navigate to the area you are interested in.

2. Report Navigation
There are 2 navigation bars at the top of the report.
The first bar is to navigate between the different areas of the report.
The second bar shows the different reports that are available for that area
The section you are in will be highlighted green
This will take you to the information page.
The section you are in will be highlighted green
This will show a box with the current selections on the report
Each report area will have 2 or 3 sections. These will contain a summary of the current year, a three year trend and a table of the data
The darker shading is the area currently selected
On the left hand side there are buttons which will open a list box if you need to change selections

3. What data is available in each section?
The UG area allows you to view the undergraduate data.
The boxes are shaded depending on benchmark data
The UG Summary Table has all the data in the previous format for the current year
The bottom left of each report area will show useful information such as shading keys and year keys
Arrows indicate performance from previous year

4. What data is available in each section?
The PGT area allows you to view the postgraduate data.
The boxes are shaded depending on benchmark data
The PG Summary Table has all the data in the previous format for the current year
The bottom left of each report area will show useful information such as shading keys and year keys
Arrows indicate performance from previous year

5. What data is available in each section?
The WP area has the three year trend data for each area and each of the WP characteristics for UG students. This is at department level only.
You have to select a department first
This bar will show you the different report areas
Here you can switch between the different WP characteristics
