5. Strengthening the SRHR cluster
The cluster has been strengthened by having a combination of different organizations which are involved advocacy for women and girls rights in areas around SRHR; Maternal Health
Comprehensive sexual education and services & Teenage pregnancies
GBV generally such as Child marriages, FGM and GBV
Organize and conduct consultative meetings and identify advocacy issues
The meetings have been convened three times, SRHR MAPPING, POLICY AND CAMPAIGNS MEETING, conduct health budget analysis and planning and preparations for a workshop during the national gender festival.

Rising awareness on sexual reproductive health amongst women and teenager aged 13 to 19 in Tanzania coastal villages of Tanga and Bagamoyo

8. SRHR Campaigns and advocacy strategy
There is one major campaign still going on called the 155 campaign
The campaign aiming at child protection against sexual violence campaign called ‘Namlinda’ (I am protecting).
Awareness raising on child protection using school gender clubs
Capacity building to the child protection committee at the street and village level
Community sensitization through weekly seminars

The key documents was not in a common national language it reduces inclusivity (The document was translated)
Moving of government Ministries to Dodoma (upcountry) requires more resources (funds and time)( Instead we work with LGAs at the District level-Counsils)

13. Challenges…
Hesitancy of the government to review and amend discriminatory laws including marriage and inheritance laws create challenges when addressing issues affecting girls such as teen pregnancy, early marriage, FGM and VAW (We are still advocating of law reforms)
