2 PharmCAS Work Groups What is a Work Group?
A customized set of permissions that defines a user’s level of access to applicant information in WebAdMIT. Who can create and/or edit Work Groups? The WebAdMIT Administrator can make changes. Each program can designate as many WebAdMIT Administrators as they wish. Keep in mind that WebAdMIT Administrators have full administrative access to the system, so access should be given thoughtfully.

3 Examples of Work Groups:
#1: Administrator – All permission sets are checked, all panels/sub-panels are available, this role is essentially the WebAdMIT Administrator #2: Coordinator – - All permission sets excepts “Configure Software” are checked, all panels/sub- panels are available, this role typically coordinates the processing of an application (i.e data entry where necessary, assigning files to reviewers, pre-screening applicants for min GPAs and other school-specific requirements. #3: Reviewer – - This role has viewing rights and limited editing rights, reviews file to make admission decision recommendations.

4 Creating a Work Group Start with the creation of a title for the Work Group When creating a Work Group, the person creating the group must assign specific permission sets, as well as to enable/disable specific panels and sub-panels for viewing. Work Groups are located under the Management tab:

5 Creating a Work Group To create a new Work Group, name your new group and check off the appropriate Permission Sets:

6 Creating a Work Group Select the Panels & Sub-Panels that will be available for viewing in this new Work Group. After all selections are complete, click on “Submit” button.

7 Assigning Users to a Work Group
To assign users to this newly created Work Group, click on the pencil icon under “Admissions Users” section (also located under the Management Panel).

8 Assigning Users to a Work Group
Click on the pencil icon to edit users level of access and add a Work Group to your users.

9 Assigning Users to a Work Group
Within the profile page for each user, there is a section called “Work Group” This is where you assign your users to a specific Work Group using the drop down list. Your newly created Work Group will be on this list.
