You will need to be up to date with the current big news stories
Read or watch the news at least once a week over the summer
Watch some topical news shows such as Newsnight, you can find them on iPlayer

4. Television Watch at least three episodes of a serial TV drama show
e.g. Broadchurch
Make a note of any convention you notice across each episode
What representations of gender, age, sexuality do you notice?

5. Film
