5. Additional notes
When spelling out words that have an accent mark (acento), you need to say “con acento” after the vowel that gets the accent.
Example: Adiós
a – de - i (con acento)- o - ese
Upper case = mayúscula
Lowercase = minúscula
When spelling words that start with an upper case, you would say:
Ex. Adiós
A (mayúscula) – de - i (con acento)- o - ese
