Mobile Technology & Repair Complex
MISSION MTRC provides the capabilities and processes to rapidly modify, repair, and fabricate SO-P equipment and facilities, at the point of need, in order to bridge operational gaps and adapt to opposition or environment change. Operational Concept: Typically two deployable ISU-90 like modules and a mobility platform tailored to specific mission or location. Provides critical engineering capabilities within the constraints of limited logistics. Deploys with initial push package of raw material, long term sustainment via military and commercial re-supply. CAPABILITIES MTRC enables SOF success with responsive point of need engineering support at austere or limited support locations. 1 USG Civilian Engineer + 1 SOF Technician provide on-site engineering and technical support. USG Engineering oversight for risk analysis, technical documentation, and configuration management. MTRC - Magnetic Antenna Mount
Who: 1-10 SFG(A) What: Magnetic Antenna Mount Where: Stuttgart, Germany When: 14MAR18 Why: 1-10 SFG(A) personnel requested additional magnetic mounts for quick antenna attachment to non-standard, low-vis vehicles. Designed in CAD and 3D Printed A 90lb rated magnet was attached to base of the mount to allow for quick and secure attachment to vehicles. MTRC Engineer designed the mount to be lighter and lower profile than previous iterations to ensure it would remain secured to the vehicles. It was printed with MTRC’s FormLabs Stereolithographic 3D Printer using “Tough” material for it’s durability and light-weight. Left: New design with stronger inset magnet Right: In use on vehicle Risk Level: Negligible

MTRC - GMV 1.1 Coms Package Who: 7th SFG(A) What: GMV 1.1 Coms Package Where: NSWC Crane, Indiana When: 22MAR2019 Why: 7th SFG(A) required a variety of modifications and systems to be designed and fabricated to enable GMV 1.1 to store, and provide the functional operation of, a variety of mission-critical communications equipment and components. Engineering Solution: As part of their training regimen, Government Engineers and SOF-Technicians of MTRC Core Training Class 2019-A were required to design, fabricate, document, and deliver all customer project and modification requirements for the GMV 1.1 as part of a Final Training Culmination Exercise. Design to delivery had a duration of under 1 week. GMV 1.1 in delivered configuration showing adjustable SDN-Lite Satellite Mount and front mounted storage compartments.
