Furthering knowledge of OT and other disciplines Community Service participation/Living and Learning Hours Social Interaction Resume building Support from students further in the program/Cohort integration Opportunities to attend conferences such as MOTA, AOTA student conclave & AOTA annual conference Fun way to advocate and represent OT!!

4 Membership If you haven’t already, fill out a membership form!
Cost: $15.00 for lifetime membership while a student OR $8.00 for year-long membership We encourage you to be involved! Attend 1 meeting and 1 event per semester to stay an active member!

5 Events for the Semester
General Overview – Will send out s regarding finality of events as they are scheduled/planned! Clipboard Sales – life savers during Level II’s (and Level I’s!) Baltimore RecFest – October 3rd Heart Walk for the American Heart Association – October 10th MOTA Conference Attendance/Volunteering – November 6th Lines and Tubes Lecture - TBD Student Conclave – November 13th & 14th Autism Walk – November 14th Restaurant Fundraising Nights To Be Decided but most likely in December! Sign up for any events that you may be interested in!

7 Baltimore RecFest Saturday, October 3rd 11AM-3PM
Located in Patterson Park Opportunity to learn about and assist individuals in participating in various activities: Wheelchair tennis Golf Basketball Wheelchair rugby Arts & crafts Dancing

8 Heart Walk Heart Walk for the American Heart Association
When: October 10th Where: Camden Yards in Downtown Baltimore Time: 10 AM

9 MOTA Conference When: Friday, November 6
Where: Radisson Hotel North Baltimore in Timonium! (15 minutes away!) Volunteers needed – Can work in shifts! More details to come!

10 AOTA Student Conclave When: November 13th & 14th
Where: King of Prussia, PA (Only 2 hours away!) Amazing experience and opportunity to network with OT students and potential employers all over the country!
