1. Introduction to Shakespeare Quote Analysis Group Project
Due Friday, May 16th!
Directions:
Each group will consist of 4-5 people.
Your group will receive a note card with a famous quote from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

3. As a group, analyze and interpret the meaning of the quote.
4. Once you have determined the meaning, begin to discover the theme behind the quote.

5. Now that you have a theme, begin to discuss possible plot ideas for your skit!
6. Decide if you will create a tragedy, comedy, romance or a combination.
7. Each person in your group MUST have a speaking part in the skit!

4. Important Details
Each actor must have a copy of their lines for performance day.
A separate, typed copy of the complete script and quote analysis will be turned in to Mrs. Lichocki on May 16th.
Skit must be at least 3 minutes in length…so use a timer while you practice!
Your quote must be included in your performance!
