5. 1 Corinthians 4:1-5
1 Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.  2 In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy.  3 But to me it is a very small thing that I should be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself.  4 For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord.

10. Malachi 3: Yet from the days of your fathers You have gone away from My ordinances And have not kept them. But you say, 'In what way have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings. 9 You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation.

12. Stewardship Heart Means We Honor God First
Tithing is Primarily an Act of Worship and a Matter of the Heart.
Tithing is God’s Way for us to Recognize His Sovereignty.
Tithing is God’s Way for Us to Recognize His Past and Present Faithfulness to Us.
Tithing is God’s Way for us to acknowledge our belief that our Needs will be met.

13. Stewardship Heart Comes when we Prioritize Eternal Matters
What God wanted for His people was for them to prioritize eternal matters. Matthew 6:33
When we are faithful and generous with our tithes, it says we care about the Kingdom of God more than we do the materialism of the world. It says we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
The tithe of the church is meant to support the pastors of that church and the house of God.
The tithe helps to support the ministries of the church.

I will examine my heart of stewardship in areas of my time, talent, testimony, temple and treasure by recommitting to honoring God first by acknowledging that He is my Source and will meet my needs.

Recommitment to be faithful with God’s Tithe.
To be obedient in giving Offerings and First Fruits as the Lord leads you and prospers you.
