Vocabulary Days of the week

Embedding the language
Use the French day of the week classroom signs (on the website) and ask pupils to pick the correct one each day.

Rhyme to practice learning the days in sequence. You can use them as you would for counting games.

C’est quel jour? 1 Pupils should look at the slides, listen to the day of the week in French and try and match the day of the week to the correct word in English. You could support this further by using day of the week fans so that pupils could do their own individual version.
