Minor repairs are the day to day operational repairs, preventative maintenance and “temporary fixes”
$850,000 in budget from EECD for 37 schools
The district receives apx 30 to 50 workorders per day from schools
All work is triaged by the Facilities team with health and safety as the top priority
Typically we spend over $1 million on minor repairs which means other budgets are affected
We place a very high value on preventative maintenance servicing and have extended the life of our school physical plants and equipment beyond there normal lifecycles
