5 About Community Fibre Partnerships
Wherever you are, and whatever you need faster broadband for, our community fibre partnerships scheme brings fast, fibre broadband to homes and businesses through a co-funded approach, by building a customised solution to meet your needs Whether you live in a rural location, a block of flats - or you might represent a group of businesses in an industrial park– we'll work with you to find a way to bring fast fibre broadband to your area We contribute toward the cost in line with our own commercial model and where possible we bring together funding from Local Authorities, Government voucher schemes and other grants to help make things affordable for communities

6 Community Fibre Partnerships
95% of homes and businesses in the UK have access to superfast broadband. We can help A Community Fibre Partnership is a way that any community can co-fund infrastructure upgrades with Openreach, so the ‘final 5%’ can gain access to fibre broadband services. And for those already served with fibre broadband, but want even faster speeds, a Community Fibre Partnership can bring ultrafast broadband right to the premise. The UK Government wants to extend the delivery of fibre broadband to the remaining 5% by 2020 to give people minimum speeds of 10Mbps. But there’s no funding mechanism to cover all of this final 5%. Overall the UK is one of the best served and most competitive markets in the world, and the open network model provided by Openreach is key to this. However, while coverage is growing all the time, there will still be areas not covered by commercial or central government funding.

7 Moy Helping communities of any kind to co-fund superfast or ultrafast broadband Bishopbriggs Nearly 800 communities have signed up for a superfast or ultrafast fibre broadband infrastructure through this scheme giving tens of thousands more premises access to superfast broadband Communities across the UK are now enjoying superfast fibre, with the connectivity for the remainder being built right now Our aim is to make the process of co-funding fibre infrastructure for your area as simple, fast and painless as possible This process works where the local community actively engages with us Clintyclay Eshott Bangor Coleorton Ipswich Hockworthy
