1 Co-Writer Student Log in Information

2 Click on Google Chrome Browser!

3 Type in cowriter.com in the address bar!

4 Click “SIGN IN” on Co-Writer!

5 Click on “sign in anyway” and exit this page
Click on “sign in anyway” and exit this page. This should be on student page only.

6 Click on Sign in with Google

7 Click on your name or use another account and type in username and password.

8 Once you are logged in-Click on “Link Data”

9 Click “Sign in anyway” or ”Turn On”

10 Click on Co-Writer Icon and sign in Click on Options

11 Change voice to default settings: Samantha Change background to color other than white (light teal)

12 Click X on this tab to Exit out of options!
Change speed and pitch for voice speed -2, and pitch is default (can adjust for grades and student needs.) Click X on this tab to Exit out of options!

Co-Writer screen should look like this. It is a word prediction software.

14 Click on the Speak icon (Speak to Text) Click on Speaker inside circle

15 Click on “Allow” for speaker

16 Click on speaker icon to activate (turns blue) then start talking.
Please note: The speaker is not tied to the computer but to the account. The more you talk on any device, the better the program learns your voice. You have to tell it to put in punctuation, as it does not know where to put it.

17 Make sure to turn it off when you are done with the subject.
Click on the book icon for Topic Dictionary Click on pencil to get out of Topic Dictionary You can search for any topic in the search for topic line. Then you can toggle it to turn it on. Make sure to turn it off when you are done with the subject.

18 Click on 123 for numbers to type a number or abc to type in words.

19 Click on Picture icon in Google Chrome to log out
Click on Picture icon in Google Chrome to log out. Not your google application. Click on Manage People.

20 Hover over the top right corner of the box and find the three dots and click them.

21 Remove this person will pop up. Click on it to remove
Remove this person will pop up. Click on it to remove. Click on remove this person on last screen also.

22 You are now all signed out of Co-Writer
