The KEY to opening collaborative planning and teaching is to demonstrate to your faculty colleagues that there is an overlap in FCAT skills that are traditionally taught separately in the classroom and the media center.
Then you, the media specialist, can become a teaching resource for children’s needs for learning to find, organize, and report information.
