1. Quote Revision Control

2. Objective:
To be able to effectively create a Quote Revision to preserve existing quote information.
Changes to the new revision will not affect the previous revision.

3. Step 1:
When a User needs to make revisions to a quote.
There are two options.

4. Option 1: Right Click on “Quote” and select:
“Create new revision”

5. Option 2: Open Quote and click on: “Quote Actions” then
“Create new revision”

6. Step 2.  
You will now see the following screen with the new revision # added on the end of the original quote number. Please add a comment as to why you are creating a revision. (ie. Changing sleeve material, Changing Operating conditions, etc.) and “Save” quote.

7. Step 3.
When you open the quote under Revision History you will be able to see all revisions.
Only the current revision can be changed. All Previous revisions are Read Only.

8. Step 4:
I have now made a new revision with a change.
The most current revision will always be on the bottom of Revision History.
If you Open a Previous revision, it is read only. You will see under Product Quoted the items are greyed out and not selectable.

9. Step 5:
You can still open the PDF of a previous revision.

10. You can also create a new revision of an earlier revision.
Step 6:
You can also create a new revision of an earlier revision. 
Open an earlier revision, and follow the steps above to create a new revision. 
When this is done you will see the following:
Notice that the parent number references the Revision that is being revised.

11. You will now see the most current revision in Quote Manager under Quote List.
